The Sports & Camping Ministry coordinates various ways in which members can remain active in fellowship through non-competitive sports teams and camping & picnic opportunities:
Youth and above can join Beacon's Spirit Lifters and other teams from Seattle-area United Methodist churches. The Sports Ministry is a positive and healthy way to fellowship with other believers as well as invite friends and family members to church activities. All sports are co-ed, and most teams can be non-competitive. More advanced players may opt to form a competitive team for a higher level of challenge and athletic skill.

Traditionally, Beacon holds an annual Family Camp in the summer. Costs and locations vary. Each summer or early fall, Beacon also has an annual church picnic that combines good food and fellowship, fresh air, and fun and games for all! To help plan and organize these events, please contact the Sports & Camping chair.
